Abrasive Blast Systems, Inc.
(ABS) was first formed and incorporated in 1979 to provide consulting
engineer services for the abrasive cleaning and shot peening industries
nation-wide.
Seeing a need for reasonably
priced industrial quality equipment, in 1982 ABS started manufacturing
equipment using outside contractors to fabricate and assemble the
equipment under the supervision of ABS.
In 1984 ABS began hiring
additional people and moved to its first building. Engineering and
assembly was done in house using outside contractors for fabrication.
This facility was quickly outgrown, and in 1986 ABS moved into its
current facility and began doing its own fabrication in addition to
engineering and assembly. In 1986, 1993, and 2005 additions and a new
building were added for a total 15,000 square feet to accommodate
increased sales.
ABS engineers design all
equipment manufactured by ABS. These highly qualified engineers
represent over 60 years experience in the industry. Administrative and
shop personnel represent over two hundred and fifty (250) years in the
industry
ABS has manufactured abrasive
cleaning and shot peening equipment for use throughout the United
States, Canada, South America, China. India, Turkey, Greece and France.
ABS has a full line of equipment ranging from small portable closed
circuit blast systems and manual blast cabinets to fully automated
computer controlled systems designed to individual customer
requirements. ABS markets and distributes this equipment through
company sales persons and sales representatives who have worked with
this equipment for over thirty years.
